The Rev. Paudentius Seraphim B. Girard, Catholic priest, was listed as a resident of Hong Kong from March 1848 to 1855. He and Father J.L. Bounard were in charge of Portuguese congregation of the Roman Catholic Church in Hong Kong in 1850.
Girard was born on April 1821. He was ordained on May 17, 1845. He belonged to the Société des Missions étrangères de Paris (Society of Foreign Missions of Paris) 巴黎外方傳教會 which sent him to Hong Kong in 1848. He left for Japan in 1855. He died on December 9, 1867.
